Minnesota Young DFL (MYDFL): Our Mission

In order to engage young Democrats to participate in Minnesota and national politics, we shall identify and advance progressive issues, develop and support young candidates, sustain community partnerships, and develop leadership in young progressive Minnesotans.

Who We Are

Minnesota Young DFL is the official youth arm of the Minnesota Democratic - Farmer - Labor Party. MYDFL represents young DFLers up to the age of 36 living in the state of Minnesota. It is the goal of MYDFL to engage young people in the state to make positive changes in our state and local governments.

Our Story

The Minnesota Young DFL (MYDFL) prepares young Minnesotans to lead in local, state and national Democratic politics by creating opportunities for education and leadership. MYDFL empowers young people, giving them a voice to advocate for youth issues. MYDFL gives young people the leadership experience they need to excel in politics, non-profits, and businesses.
